TWISTED SISTER Featured In Hornitos Premium Tequila's Second Annual Mariachi Mash Up Video

May 3, 2012

Hornitos Premium Tequila today released the second annual Mariachi Mash Up music video and song to celebrate tequila's biggest holiday, Cinco de Mayo. This year, the premium tequila brand brought TWISTED SISTER and Mariachis together to mash up TWISTED SISTER's iconic anthem, "We're Not Gonna Take It", and to create the perfect party song for Cinco de Mayo.

"We had an awesome time giving one of our biggest hits a little Mariachi flavor with Hornitos Tequila," said TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider. "The Mariachis we worked with were amazing and they thought of some really unique ways to put a new twist on 'We're Not Gonna Take It'. The song came out even better than we could have imagined and we have a feeling it will be on repeat all night on Cinco de Mayo."

"Hornitos is excited to present the second annual Mariachi Mash Up song and video," said Halley Kehoe, senior brand manager for Hornitos Tequila. "TWISTED SISTER and the mariachi band really captured the fun, mischievous spirit of Hornitos in this iteration of 'We're Not Gonna Take It'. It will definitely keep the party going this Cinco de Mayo."

The second annual Mariachi Mash Up follows the success of last year's inaugural Mash Up featuring the classic rock band CHEAP TRICK, when Hornitos Tequila partnered with CHEAP TRICK to remix their anthem "Surrender" in mariachi style to the delight of music lovers everywhere.
